After freedom, various educational institutions came forward to expanding their area and activities for mass education. Primary and secondary education reached up-to-the villages but higher education was available only in the limited cities, Tribal and rural community became active with the changing time and took interest to have higher education at each and every villages. The students of Raver region especially girls were facing various problems due to lack of availability of higher education facility. All these problems have inspired the educational loving citizen of Raver region to establish a college, which was opened in 2002. Raver is situated on the Madhypradesh and Maharastra border and especially famous for the cultivation of banana in India. It is located on the central railway.

Our college is specially started for the welfare of girls,because due to rural area girl’s education had been ignored for long period. Hence, our college is specially SNDT Women’s University affiliated . The maximum area of Raver Taluka comes under the shadow of Satpuda, where tribal culture is prevailing. These tribal communities have maintained even today their cast, language, uniform, and social heritage. Actually, Raver Taluka is a real representative of India in all fields like industry, farming except fields of education, which is now complemented by this college.
